Benedicte Toft Andersen er en London-uddannet billedkunstner med en international praksis, der spænder over samtidskunst, grafisk design og selvstændigt galleriarbejde. Hun har en BA Joint Honours dobbeltuddannelse i Fine Arts og Graphic Design fra University of the Arts London.
Hendes kunstneriske virke forener et stærkt grafisk udtryk med maleriske og trykbaserede teknikker, ofte inspireret af urban kultur, designæstetik og visuel fortælling.
Siden begyndelsen af 2000’erne har hun udstillet bredt i Europa, USA og Japan. Parallelt med sit atelierarbejde har hun grundlagt og drevet længerevarende galleri- og udstillingsplatforme i både Paris og Danmark samt arrangeret diverse kulturelle events i My Beautiful Gallery.

Artist Statement
Min praksis befinder sig i krydsfeltet mellem billedkunst og grafisk sprog, hvor maleri, tryk og komposition møder inspiration fra design, interiør, urban kultur og samtidens billedverden. Parallelt med mit atelierarbejde er gallerirummet blevet en forlængelse af min kunstneriske praksis — et sted for kuratering, rumlig fortælling og uafhængig kulturproduktion.

Profile
Benedicte Toft Andersen is a London-educated visual artist with an international practice spanning contemporary art, graphic design, and independent gallery work. She holds a BA Joint Honours double degree in Fine Arts and Graphic Design from University of the Arts London.
Her artistic work combines a strong graphic sensibility with painterly and print-based techniques, often inspired by urban culture, design aesthetics, and visual storytelling.
Since the early 2000s, she has exhibited widely across Europe, the United States, and Japan. Alongside her studio practice, she has founded and directed long-term gallery and exhibition platforms in both Paris and Denmark.

Artist Statement
My practice exists at the intersection of fine art and graphic language, where painting, printmaking, and composition meet inspiration from design, interior spaces, urban culture, and contemporary visual life.
Alongside my studio work, the gallery space has become an extension of my artistic practice — a platform for curating, spatial storytelling, and independent cultural production.
